AR. Flying Ace – notes from the developer (Parrot SA)
AR.Race is a racing game for Parrot’s AR.Drone.
Thanks to AR.Race, you can create your own racing circuit using obstacles in your house or garden. Indicate the number of laps to be completed, and wait until the traffic lights go green before taking off, or you could be penalised! In order to validate a lap, tap twice on the top of the central hull. Race your friends to find out who can do the best time.
Even more fun: use the inflatable accessories for sale in stores and at www.parrotshopping.com.
* the Finish Line is an orange and green band to be laid on the floor, along with two inflatable pylons. AR.Race offers circuits with Finish Line. The band will be detected by the AR.Drone’s central camera, which will make it possible to automatically validate each lap.
* The Donut Challenge is an inflatable ring with an orange and blue interior band. AR.Race offers circuits that pass through the Donut Challenge. The AR.Drone automatically validates each passage through the Donut Challenge by detecting the interior band using its central camera.
Several players that all own an AR.Drone can take part in the same race. One player creates a session and the others can join it.
