Tethered demonstration of the 1st prototype Android-Arduino controlled quadcopter. Total price: less than $600 in parts (assuming full retail price of Nexus One, this is ONE ORDER OF MAGNITUDE IN PRICE REDUCTION from commercial sources). Labor: two weeks of volunteer, late-night time in the N226 NASA Open Lab. Coordinated by Matthew Reyes in the NASA Open Lab in N226. Work completed by students volunteering nights at NASA Ames Research Center: Dan Mathewson, Alex Babb, with contributions from Matthew Ferraro & the AndroidSat team.
