Parrot SA have now released version 1.8 of Free Flight, the default iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch application for piloting the AR.Drone.

This revision includes a new video codec with a lower bit-rate to increase the amount of network bandwidth allocated to controlling the AR.Drone.
There is also support for users who control their AR.Drone from multiple iOS devices.
Finally, Free Flight version 1.8 includes a new firmware update for the AR.Drone.
If you run into any problems or wish to restore an older firmware version, you should check out Firmware Manager.
