Macworld 2010 Expo – Parrot AR Drone

AR.Drone – user upload (video summary)

This video has been uploaded to The-Parrot-ARDrone.com by user jjasef. Here is a summary of the video in their own words:

On our way out of Macworld 2010 Expo in San Francisco’s Moscone Center, two fellas with the Parrot AR Drones set out and do a launch and demo for a small crowd outside. Definitely cool seeing this as I’ve heard it from the blogs when they were at Las Vegas CES 2010. If you haven’t heard of these, these are flying quadrotor helicoptors that are controlled by an iPhone which a network is established between the unit and phone. There are actual cameras on the drone in which you can see live on the iPhone. The drone is controlled using the iPhone’s accelerometer. Each drone has a flight limit of about 15 minutes and range of 50 meters.
