In April, we found a California based company that produces black and white carbon fiber outdoor hulls for the AR.Drone.
AR Drone hull in silver carbon wrap
The same company is now producing a silver carbon fiber variant of the outdoor hull and you can find more details on their eBay listing page.
If you’d like to get your hands on one, they cost $99 USD / c.£65 GBP, plus postage costs. The company offers worldwide shipping and promises to dispatch the custom hull within 24 hours of receiving payment.
Please note that the process involves taking a standard Parrot AR.Drone hull and covering with a thin wrap of carbon fiber vinyl and the company does not claim to be manufacturing a 100% carbon fiber hull. Nonetheless, they look pretty cool!
